Construction Debris Removal in De Winton

De Winton sits just off Highway 22A, a few minutes south of Calgary's city limits, and it's growing fast. The jobs I see out here fall into a few patterns, and they're specific to how this area builds.

New acreage construction. Out toward Heritage Pointe and the new developments near 194 Avenue, builders are putting up homes on larger lots. That leaves scrap lumber, cut-offs, drywall scraps, roof shingles, and packaging. Contractors need it gone in a hurry so crews can keep working.

Renovations on older rural homes. Plenty of De Winton homes were built in the 70s and 80s, and owners are gutting kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. That means old cabinets, tubs, tile, drywall, and sometimes asbestos-containing material that needs to be handled properly. I won't touch asbestos, but I can tell you who can.

Outbuildings and shops. A lot of people here have shops, barns, and sheds. When those get torn down or reframed, the debris is heavy — treated lumber, metal roofing, concrete footings.

How the job works here

I show up with a truck and a couple of guys. We load everything ourselves — you don't lift a finger, and you don't need to rent a bin or a trailer. If you've got a bin on site that's full, I'll take it and swap it or haul it off. For bigger commercial or builder jobs, I can schedule regular pickups so the site stays clean through the whole build.

One thing that matters in De Winton specifically: access. Some of the driveways out here are long, gravel, and narrow. If I can't back a truck in, I'll tell you upfront and we'll figure out a staging spot. Better to know before I'm sitting in your lane with a load of shingles.

• Labour, loading, sweep-up, and disposal fees are all included in the bundle price — no add-ons at the end.

I sort what I haul. Metal, clean lumber, and drywall get recycled where possible, so less of your debris ends up in the landfill. That's better for your pocket and for the county.

Where your debris actually goes

I haul to the proper facilities — the Foothills landfill and transfer sites, and recycling yards for the metal and wood. I've got the paperwork to prove it. If you need a receipt for insurance or a builder's records, you get one.
