Junk Removal in Didsbury — No Runaround, Just a Clean Truck
I'm TJ. I run a junk removal truck out of Olds, and I cover Didsbury year-round. If you've got stuff that needs to go — old furniture, yard waste, renovation scrap, farm junk, or just years of accumulated clutter — I'll come haul it away. I charge by how much space you fill in the truck, not by the pound, and I don't tack on hidden fees.
What Junk Removal Looks Like in Didsbury
Didsbury isn't Calgary. The jobs here are different. I haul away a lot of farmstead scrap — old fencing, rusted corral panels, broken-down equipment, and used barbed wire that's been sitting in a pile for years. I also do a steady number of rental cleanouts for landlords on Main Street and up around 20th Avenue who need a unit flipped fast between tenants. And every spring, I pull yard debris out of properties along the river valley — branches, soaked leaves, old decking, and the odd trampoline that didn't survive the winter.
I've also hauled more than a few basement cleanouts from the older homes on Dickson Street and around the downtown core. These houses have been in families for decades, and when it's time to clear out a lifetime of stored belongings, you want someone who shows up on time, loads it himself, and doesn't rummage through your stuff.
How the Job Works
You call or text me at (825) 559-2766. We talk about what you need gone. I'll give you a rough price over the phone based on what you describe. If it sounds fair, I book a time — usually within a day or two.
I show up in my truck. I look at the load. I confirm the price. Then I load everything myself. You don't lift a finger. I sweep up any mess and head out. Whatever I haul goes to the proper facilities — landfill, recycling, or donation if it's still usable. I don't dump stuff in a ditch.
Honest Pricing for Didsbury
I charge $150 for a quarter-truck load, which is my small-load bundle, and the minimum charge for any job is $50. A full truckload runs $500, and everything in between — half a truck at $250, three-quarters at $375 — is priced by how much space you fill. Heavy stuff like concrete, dirt, or brick carries an extra fee that I'll put in your quote up front, same as mattresses, tires, fridges, and long carries or stairs. Regular household junk, furniture, and yard waste are on the lower end.
I take cash, debit, credit, or e-transfer. No contracts. No appointment fees. No charging you extra because I drove out from Olds.
What I Can and Can't Take
I take: Furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, yard waste, fencing, scrap metal, construction debris, household junk, basement clutter, hot water tanks, old tools, and most farm scrap.
I don't take: Hazardous chemicals, paint in liquid form, asbestos, propane tanks, or biomedical waste. If you're not sure, just ask.
Serving All of Didsbury
I cover the whole town — from the new builds off 20th Avenue to the older homes near the tracks, and the acreages and farmsteads just outside town limits. If you're on a gravel road and worried a truck can't get in, don't be. I've backed down tighter lanes than yours.
Give me a call at (825) 559-2766 or send a text. I'll get your junk out of the way.
