I don't take appliances with refrigerant still in them unless you've already had a licensed tech recover the Freon. If you haven't, I can point you to a guy in Airdrie who handles that. Once the refrigerant's out, I'll take the rest.

I give you a flat price over the phone. No hourly rate, no surprises. I show up at the scheduled time, pull the appliance out, haul it to my truck, and sweep up any mess I make. You don't lift a finger.

What Happens to Your Old Appliance

I sort everything after the load's full. Metal goes to the scrapyard in Calgary. Working appliances get donated if they're clean and pass a basic safety check — I've dropped off fridges at the Balzac Community Association and a few local families who needed them. Non-working stuff gets stripped for parts and scrap. I don't dump anything. I don't landfill things that can be recycled. That's not how I run this business.

Do you go inside the house or just the garage? I go wherever the appliance is. Basement, garage, upstairs, backyard — I've hauled from all of it. Just clear a path and I'll do the rest.

What about old appliances left by the previous homeowner? Happens all the time in Balzac. If you bought a place and the old owners left a broken washer or a fridge in the shed, I'll take it. No paperwork needed.
