Commercial Junk Removal in Balzac

Commercial Junk Removal · Balzac

Balzac sits right where the city meets the country, and that shows up in the kind of junk I haul. Between the big-box retail around CrossIron Mills, the industrial yards along Centre Street North, and the newer commercial strip heading toward Airdrie, the work here is varied — but it's never boring, and it's never a one-size-fits-all job.

What Balzac businesses are actually hauling

The retail corridor around CrossIron Mills generates a steady stream of cardboard, broken shelving, packing materials, and display fixtures that need to go when the season changes or a store resets its floor plan. The auto shops and equipment dealers along the industrial stretch produce scrap metal, old tires, and worn-out parts. And the offices and warehouses tucked into the business parks near Harvest Hills and the new builds off Symons Valley Road accumulate the usual mix of old furniture, dead electronics, and boxes nobody's touched in years.

Whatever it is, it gets loaded onto the truck the same way — you point, we haul. No sorting through it on site, no line items for disposal, no "that'll be extra" surprises on top of the bundle price.

How the job works out here

Balzac is spread out, but that works in your favour. Most commercial pickups here are straightforward ground-level loads, which keeps things efficient. The bundle model is simple: you pick the truck-space size that fits your load, and labor, cleanup, sweep-up, disposal fees, and donation drop-offs are all wrapped into that one price. A small load of retail packing waste might be a 1/4 truck at $150. A shop clearing out old equipment and scrap could fill a 1/2 truck at $250. A full warehouse cleanout runs a full truck at $500.

If you've got a mattress or two, tires from the shop, an old fridge with Freon, or concrete and brick from a demo — those carry a separate fee on top of the bundle, and I'll be straight with you about it when you call. Long carries and stairs add a fee too, which matters if your storage is up a flight or tucked behind a loading dock. I never quote those numbers blind; I give you the exact cost before anything gets loaded.

What I won't take

Some things don't leave on my truck, no matter the price. Wet paint, chemicals, and anything hazardous stay behind — you'll need a proper disposal outfit for those. Everything else, I'll get out of your building and off your property, and I'll sweep up before I leave so your loading area doesn't look worse than when I arrived.

Working around Balzac's traffic

One thing I plan around: the congestion around CrossIron Mills and the 2/566 interchange. I schedule pickups to avoid the worst of the shopping traffic, so if your business is on that side of town, a mid-morning or early-afternoon slot usually goes smoother than a weekend run. For the industrial yards further north, timing is less of a factor — it's usually just a matter of getting the gate open and the truck backed in.

If you're running a shop, store, or office in Balzac and you've got junk taking up space you're paying for, give me a call at (825) 559-2766. I'll ask what you've got, tell you the price on the spot, and get it hauled.

Straight answers

Frequently asked questions

Do you haul away pallets and cardboard from retail stores near CrossIron Mills?

Yes. Cardboard, broken shelving, pallets, and packing waste are all standard loads. A light retail load usually fits a 1/4 truck at $150, and disposal is included.

Can you take old tires from our auto shop in the industrial strip?

Tires are on the extra-fee list, so there's a separate charge on top of your bundle. Call with the count and I'll give you the exact total before we start.

We're clearing out a warehouse off Symons Valley Road. How does that get priced?

It's priced by how much truck space it fills, not by weight or how long it takes. If it fills the truck, that's a full load at $500 — labor, sweep-up, and disposal all included.

Do you charge extra for coming out to Balzac from the city?

No. There's no distance or travel fee. The bundle price is the bundle price, whether I'm five minutes away or coming up from Calgary.

Our storage is up a set of stairs behind the shop. Is that a problem?

Stairs are on the extra-fee list, so there's a charge for the carry. I'll quote it clearly when you call — no surprises on the invoice.
