Garage Cleanout in Irricana

I've hauled a lot of garages in and around Irricana over the years, and I've learned that a garage here isn't the same as a garage in Calgary or Airdrie. Out here, the garage is usually doing double duty — it's part workshop, part equipment shed, part storage for everything that doesn't fit in the house. The big difference in this town is the amount of ag and winter gear. How the job works out here

I come to your place in Irricana proper or anywhere in the surrounding county. I bring my truck and trailer, and we go through the garage together. You point, I haul. I don't make you sort everything into neat piles first — if it's going, it's going. I handle the heavy lifting, the awkward shapes, and the stuff you can't get a grip on anymore.

I don't take hazardous waste like asbestos, and I'll flag any paint or chemicals that need to go to the proper facility in Airdrie or Calgary. For e-waste like old TVs and computers, I make sure they get recycled properly rather than dumped.

Anything that's still in decent shape — a workbench, a set of shelves, a decent lawn mower — I'll set aside and suggest the Irricana Facebook buy-and-sell groups or the community garage sale in the spring. Lots of people in this town will take a good used item off your hands before it ever sees a landfill.

I price by volume, not by the hour, so you're not watching the clock. A standard single-car garage cleanout usually runs a quarter to a half truck — $150 to $250 — depending on how full it is. If you've got a double garage packed floor to ceiling with years of accumulated gear, it'll be more — but I'll tell you a fair number before I start, and I won't tack on surprise fees when we're done. Outside town limits is no problem either — same price on the acreages as in town.
