We ask a few questions about what you've got — roughly how big, how heavy, whether it's accessible from the alley or if we need to come through the front. We get you a fair estimate. Most Calgary jobs take under an hour. Some bigger ones — the full property cleanouts after a hail storm or a major landscaping redo — take a bit longer. If you're in the inner city with tight alleys like Inglewood or Erlton, we've got the smaller trailer and we know how to work those spaces. If you're out in the suburbs with a big gate, that's fine too.

What it costs

I'll be upfront about pricing because nobody likes surprises. You pay for the space your yard waste takes up in the truck: small loads start at the $50 minimum, a quarter truck is $150, a half truck is $250, and a full truckload is $500 — labour, loading, and disposal all included. Heavy material like dirt and sod carries a small weight surcharge. The big factors are:

• Weight — dirt and wet sod cost more to haul than dry branches. That's the reality of transfer station fees.
• Volume — how much trailer space you're using.
• Access — whether we can back right up to the pile or we're carrying everything through a gate and down a walkway.

You get a firm number before we load anything. If it's more than we quoted, that's on us — not you.
